I saw a recent article that said scientists or doctors just discovered genetics play something like at least a 50% role in longevity. My opinion is genetics are the leader, and then diet / lifestyle determines more how you enjoy those years but who knows

Yeah but I don’t think it’s a linear relationship between diet and lifespan - there’s lots of people getting cancer nowadays that are otherwise healthy for example but overall I think a good diet gives you a better quality of life as you age but it’s not full proof
