The Bible is so interesting when you really read it - there is so much there that the church rarely touches on.
Why would Paul write about the below, and then also assert his own visions and revelations of the Lord? Does the story below about a man caught up into the third heaven mean it is possible for someone to experience points of the afterlife even while here on earth? It certainly seems this man did?
“I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. And I know that this man was caught up into paradise—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter.”
